Has there ever been (in print at least) an instance where Robin said 'Holy shit, Batman!' because I am not aware of one, but have always thought it was a missed opportunity at comedy gold.
It really is a shame that Dick doesn't run around doing this anymore. It would be hilarious if he did it as Nightwing, and even MORE hilarious if he did it as Batman.
I always had a theory that Dick made a game out of how many versions of "holy" he could come up with and Bruce never picked up on it. I'd imagine him using it to annoy Jason with. Telling him it was his duty as Robin to say it and after Jason accidently turned it into a curse the phrase was retired.
I couldn't help listen to the actor (Burt Ward?) and imaging him trying to say all of these with a straight face.

Holy Mary Mother of God!
No manifesto this week. I can't even raise comment on newly commissioned art after the holiday lull.

Somehow, I just can't see Damian doing this.

i have a book about the tv show that lists all the "Holy...Batman"'s listed, for example: Holy priceless collection of Etruscan snoods, Batman!
